Our diverse and skilled in-house team combine over 100 years of endoscopy experience and includes a recently practising endoscopist, as well as IT infrastructure and security professionals, and NHS managers with extensive clinical department management experience.

David Simpson

Head of Product & Partnerships

David has been involved in the GI Endoscopy market for almost 30 years. David has recently relinquished the MD role to concentrate on his responsibility for software content and partnership relations.  The EMS product benefits from both his own experience and that of numerous Consultant and Endoscopist contacts built up over the years.

Ryan Beegan

Chief Executive Officer

Ryan has over 15 years of Health Informatics experience, mostly within the NHS, including several years with oversight of an NHS endoscopy system.  During this time, he has gained extensive experience in digital system development and management and fulfilled several roles including Technical Solutions Manager and Product Delivery Manager.  He was also the Wessex Genomic Medicine Centre Informatics lead for the 100,000 Genome Project. On leaving the NHS he worked in the digital health industry as solutions lead, designing complex deployments and developing capabilities for national EHR tenders alongside wider public sector tender requirements.  Ryan has recently assumed responsibility as CEO and looks forward to driving the company forward in the months and years ahead.

Robert McNaught

Chief Operating Officer

Robert has responsibility for all aspects of the day-to-day running of the company, ably supported by our development, operations and customer service leads. Robert has over 20 years of NHS experience, moving from development through implementation to general service delivery. Most of this time was spent working on application integration and systems management. He has a large knowledge of NHS systems and software from the hardware level through to operational management.

Tracy Finlayson

Head of Customer Relations

Tracy is an experienced professional in business development and customer relationship management with over 15 years in the commercial healthcare sector.  She has NHS & Private sector clinical experience in endoscopy and theatres as well as expertise in healthcare informatics and management.  Tracy's goal is to provide quality, value and direction to EMS customers by implementing effective strategies to support continued improvement and sucess.

Catherine Logan

Head of Technical Operations

Catherine has over 20 years of NHS experience in digital services support, implementation, development and service delivery. Having previously worked for us in a Product Specialist and Project Manager role she brings her strong background in healthcare and information technology to lead the technical delivery team. Her knowledge of EMS and a strong focus on customer care delivers a high standard of service to both our existing and new customers.

Wayne Cornish

Head of Development

Wayne has been involved from day one with the original EMS pilot and now has overall responsibility for all MEDILOGIK software development. Wayne has over 15 years of experience in implementing systems used in the healthcare sector, including having previously worked on projects for NHS Improvement and NHS Professional’s eRecruitment.

Jim Docherty

Clinical Consultant

Prior to joining MEDILOGIK in 2022, Jim was a consultant colorectal surgeon for over 20 years based in Inverness. He had been the endoscopy lead for 10 years, clinical director for eHealth, a JAG Assessor and represented the ACPGBI on the National Endoscopy database group. Jim has wide eHealth experience and has led projects for a variety of specialities both locally and nationally. We benefit from his skills in a variety of ways at MEDILOGIK, not least to ensure all our functional changes to EMS have the end users' best interests at heart.
